By 2015 it was obvious that eastern province had potential in good coffee and that went unnoticed for a long time. We started distributing seeds all around the Ngoma and Kirehe district and by 2016 our first washing station started its operation in Mutenderi localities. Farmers have been very outstanding in farming coffee, but the most important part is the way they mix it with their banana plantation (the most famous plant in this area). This helps coffee trees to grow under the shades of banana plantations.
Mutenderi washing station is located right next to the Akagera national park, the famous national conservation of thousands of wildlife animals such as giraffes, lions, zebras, Impala and so many. Our staff and farmers have been there many times and we loved it.
